The Kidde Battery-Powered Dual Sensor Photoelectric and Ionization Smoke Alarm with Hush is an easy-to-install smoke alarm powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery-operated smoke detector that uses both photoelectric and ionization sensor technology that functions as a single unit, allowing for detection of both visible particles, associated with smoldering fires, and invisible fire particles, associated with flaming fires, to help keep your family safe. Two LED warning light indicators keep you informed of the alarm's status. If a smoke or fire hazard is present, an 85-decibel alarm & red LED will appear, if AC power is connected, a green LED will appear. A test-Hush button allows for temporary silence of nuisance or "false" alarms. UL Certified with a 10-year limited warranty on the alarm.
