The Nike SB Dunk High Pro ISO “Kentucky” is a classic colorway of the popular skate shoe that originally appeared in the Dunk’s “Be True to Your School” pack of college basketball-inspired colorways from 1985. While not the first instance of an old school Dunk colorway appearing on the SB Dunk model, the “Kentucky” still excites with its easy-wearing, two-tone, white-and-blue color block. The perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel are designed in white leather. The overlays and Swoosh are constructed in Royal Blue leather. The white-and-blue look is a nod to the team uniform colors of the Kentucky Wildcats college basketball team. The Nike SB Dunk version of the “Kentucky” colorway features “fat” or round laces, classic “Nike SB” branding on the tongue tag, and a drop-in Zoom Air cushioning unit in the heel of the insole that aids in impact absorption while skateboarding.
